Atana Musandam Resort

Khasab

Using local materials, this appealingly rustic hotel attempts to blend into the environment with its sandstone-clad rooms, wooden beams and barasti (palm-leaf) ceilings. Arranged along the edge of two creeks that slice through the reclaimed land upon which it sits, this resort echoes twice a day with the sound of powerboats as they set out or return from fishing.

Although near busy Lulu Hypermarket, the resort manages to retain its landscaped serenity.
