Bedouin Stall

Oman

Bedouin women, still wearing their traditional peaked-mask costume, sell handicrafts from a small goat-hair tent by the side of the road here. Items begin at around OR1 for hand-woven woollen key-fobs, while flat-loomed carpets can cost around OR20 depending on size. As inveterate traders, these women are unlikely to offer much discount, however hard you bargain! No fixed opening times.
