Sleeping in a shipping container somehow captures the industrial spirit of Pyramiden. Indeed, it doesn't come much simpler than the 12 bunk beds in these three converted containers down by the port – as their own publicity states, the place isn't really romantic, but the views across the fjord more than compensate.
There's a communal kitchen, and each container has its own toilet and shower. If you're self-catering, you'll need to bring supplies in with you. If you're not, the restaurant at the Tulpan Hotel is a 10-minute walk away.
It's also possible to rent out an entire container, which costs 2500/2000kr with/without kitchen.
