About 11km southeast of Carterton in a farmer's backyard, this to-scale rendering of England's Stonehenge is cosmically orientated for its southern hemisphere location, on a grassy knoll overlooking the Wairarapa Plain. Its mission: to bring the night sky to life (even in daylight). The pre-tour talk and AV presentation are excellent, while the henge itself is a delightfully eccentric sight.
