Thomas Green

Fiordland & Southland

Set in a restored 1906 building, modish Thomas Green is a cut above the average gastropub. It's named after the 'father of Gore', a jack-of-all-trades industrialist who helped build up the town. The menu is refined rather than rugged: medium-rare lamb strip loin, plum-stuffed chicken, and a choice of classy desserts.
