With a biogas plant, organic garden and solar water heaters, Mango Tree Lodge leads the eco-friendly trend in Bardia. The open-sided communal dining area is one of the best around. From the spacious suites down to the thatch-roofed stone-walled cottages, the Tharu rooms are a delight. There's even a wood-fired pizza oven, a most acceptable break from tradition.
