Berg House Café

Nagarkot

By the highway's main junction, this colourful and popular local hang-out is packed with fossils, gnarled tree roots and other found bits of bric-a-brac. The traveller-oriented menu runs to pizzas, sandwiches and steaks, although the staff are so laid-back that it can take an age for food to arrive. Pass on the eight guest rooms: hopefully the kitchen is cleaner.
