Pagoda Guest House

Bhaktapur

A family-run place in the northwest corner of Taumadhi Tole, set back from the hubbub and piled high with pot plants. The six rooms in the old building are clean, if a little small; rooms with bathroom across the hall are probably the best value. There’s also a decent rooftop restaurant.

The midrange newer block is a better choice with spacious rooms whose upper-floor terraces offer splendid temple views.
