Mowani Mountain Camp

Damaraland

There’s little to prepare you for this beautiful lodge – hidden among a jumble of boulders, its domed buildings seem to disappear into the landscape and you don’t see it until you’re there. The main buildings all enjoy an ingenious natural air-conditioning system, and the accommodation nestles out of sight amid the boulders. The mountain camp is located 5km north of the Twyfelfontein turn-off from the D2612.

You pay extra for the best views from your room – worth every Namibian dollar.
