The oldest accommodation in the Palmwag area sits on a private concession adjacent to the Uniab River. Rooms are acceptable for the price, if unexciting, but the campsites are a welcome addition – numbers two to five have fabulous views, while the remainder are a little claustrophobic. The property contains several excellent hiking routes, and a local bull elephant, Jimbo, sometimes wanders through the camp.
Activities include rhino-tracking (half/full day N$1595/2145) in the neighbouring Torra Conservancy, as well as wildlife drives (N$550) where lion, elephant, spotted hyena, gemsbok, giraffe and zebra are all possible.
