Damaraland Camp

Damaraland

This solar-powered desert outpost 60km south of Palmwag has all-encompassing views of stark, truncated hills and is an oasis of luxury amid a truly feral and outlandish setting. When you’re not living out your end-of-the-world fantasies in your luxury tent with wood floors, adobe walls and outdoor showers, you can do a few laps in the novel pool that occupies a rocky gorge formed by past lava flows.

Wildlife drives could include rhinos, elephants and lions if you're lucky.
