Over Hill Guesthouse

Chin State

Four brightly coloured aluminium cabins are perched above the cliffside village of Thaing Nyin, just west of the junction where the road splits in three directions: northwest to Tiddim, southeast to Kalay, or south to Falam. Inside, there's just enough space for a mattress on the floor and small bathrooms with toilets and cold-water bucket showers. Electricity and lights should be available at night.

Best only considered by those hiking Kennedy Peak (it's the closest guesthouse to the trailhead), or if you find yourself in a pinch because of bad weather or road conditions and can't make it to Teddim or Kalaymyo.
