The rooms certainly aren't as flash as the over-the-top tiled reception and faux marble staircase, or as popular as the bustling downstairs cafe perpetually filled with men smoking. But singles especially are good value here, featuring big balconies (but no chairs to sit on), clean bathrooms, and even rainfall shower heads. Women might prefer to stay elsewhere.
