Bio Beldi

Anti Atlas Mountains

Friendly proprietor Yassine has done an excellent job converting the family home into a welcoming restaurant, the only one of its kind in the Ameln Valley, complete with a back garden. Tajines and couscous are great value and tasty, especially the gratis homemade goat cheese and crudités that begin every meal here.

To get there, head north from Tafraoute on R105, then turn left toward Chez Amaliya. Bio Beldi is just under four kilometres into the valley once you make the turn, in the tiny settlement of Aït Oumgas.
