The Gobi
This well-run camp, 10km north of Dalanzadgad (and less than 5km from the airport), offers loads of options and the convenience of an easy airport drop. The 27 gers are standard issue. However, they do offer 10 air-conditioned VIP rooms, with double and queen beds, hot-water showers and flat screens.
There is a sauna ($10) on-site and, Anna, the manager, speaks very good English. They have another camp, Gobi Oasis 2, 5km northwest of the 'Flaming Cliffs' at Bayanzag.
