Garage 24 has a Western-oriented menu (the chef trained in the UK) that will come as a welcome break after a few days of roughing it in the wilderness. The English breakfast includes bacon, toast, beans and sausage. Lunch and dinner menus include surprisingly good shepherd’s pie and pizza. Give some advance warning as preparations take around an hour.
The affiliated Nature's Door on the western shore of the lake does happy hours (wine and beer). You can drop in for a drink during happy hour (the time of which varies) or a meal at dinnertime (6-8pm), but visit or call ahead to arrange a dining time otherwise.
