This appealing little museum contains a well-laid-out collection of archaeological finds, traditional clothing, religious artefacts and taxidermied examples of aimag wildlife. You may spot a jade chess set and a wind instrument made of a human femur, but the museum's most valued piece is an original painting of Lenin meeting Sükhbaatar, a classic work of communist pictorial hagiography painted by B. Tsultem in 1953.
