Bayanzag Ger Camp

The Gobi

It's ageing a bit and the bathrooms should be cleaner, but this remains one of the more original camps, with a giant mosaic tortoise building for a dining hall, and another structure shaped like an elephant. The 25 gers sleep two to four people and the staff speaks some English. Nonguests are welcome to dine here (mains T4000 to T6000).

It's by the scrub 'forest', a 4km-walk below the cliffs.
