Manjar Blanco

This modernised colonial building with contemporary local art on the walls puts a gourmet twist on regional favorites and makes a good downtown lunch spot between museums. The tortillitas tropicales (fried plantains topped with smoked pork) are delicious, while the house specialty, queso relleno (a stuffed ball of cheese filled with ground meat and spices) is also superb.
