On Saturday and Sunday afternoons it feels like half of Guadalajara has packed into this Tlaquepaque patio seafood restaurant with an open fire. Dressed-up Mexican families slurp ceviche and pass around platters of pineapple shrimp (M$162) and huachinango al estilo Veracruz (snapper with lime and tomatoes; M$299), while mariachis wander from table to table.
Oysters (from M$106 a dozen) are a specialty – you’ll recognize the place by the oyster-shucking hut out front.
