Sombra del Agua

San Cristóbal de las Casas

Elegant, but simple white-walled, timber-roof-beamed rooms can be found at this multilevel hotel just north of the main square. The central courtyard, where breakfast is served, is a delight of flowers, fountains and blue-and-white Andalusian-style tile work. Sadly, the bathrooms are a bit dated and some road-facing rooms can be noisy.
