Garden Beach Hotel

Across the street from the beach and 800m southeast of the lighthouse, and spread over two different grounds, this hotel has pastel-shaded, air-conditioned rooms that are past their best. All rooms have flat-screen TVs and there's no fly screens. The upper floors have great ocean views.

It has a beachfront open-air restaurant (mains M$150 to M$200) and a big double pool overlooked by a bright green frog the size of a small car.
