This friendly, family-run lodge has several comfortable cabins overlooking an orchard, many with lofts, and all with fireplaces and fully equipped kitchenettes. Basic but clean hotel-type rooms (also M$300 per person) are also available. Affordable home-style meals (around M$140) are served in a huge dining room in the main building.

Excellent guided hikes and horseback rides (two-hour outing by foot/horse per person M$300/200) are offered too. Free pick-up from the train station by advance notice.
