Mesón de los Poetas

Top choice in Guanajuato

If only all hotels were like this! This hotel's labyrinth of rooms – each named after a poet – totter up a hillside and offer spacious (though singles are small), comfortable and clean lodgings. While natural light is limited in some rooms, it's simply superb value and service is friendly. It's just a moment from the center yet quiet at night.

We particularly like rooms 401, 402 and 403, which share a sunny terrace.
