Worth coming for the modern architecture alone, this library-sized cafe–bar–bookstore is built around a palm tree ascending over multiple well-stocked levels of books (many in English) and gifts. The ambience encourages spending hours over a coffee, burger, breakfast, Mexican or pasta dish (with plenty of interesting vegetarian options), or cocktail. The fruity axiote Yucatán-style fish with salsa is refreshing.
