This simple 1930s hotel has been drawing huge numbers of guests for as long as the clavadistas (cliff divers) have been an organized spectacle. The rooms themselves are tiled and rather bland, decor-wise, but there's a restaurant (La Perla) where you can watch Acapulco's best spectacle for free, plus three tiered swimming pools overlooking the waves.
