Sabina Bandera’s award-winning seafood stand dates from the 1960s and attracts long lines with its outstanding juicy ceviche (seafood marinated in lime juice) and tostadas (deep-fried tortillas). Anthony Bourdain gave his approval in 2018 and shortly thereafter, Bandera opened the equally delicious restaurant 'Sabina' (10am to 6pm, Tuesday to Sunday) right next door.
The food is virtually identical, though the brick-and-mortar restaurant offers tacos, soups and desserts. For a real treat, try the sea snail or sea urchin on a tostada (M$27).
