Extremely good value, this outpost of the Veranda chain mixes simplicity in the rooms (think pine bunk beds in the family rooms) with the reassuringly tropical surrounds of an upmarket resort: infinity pool, spa centre, water sports, kids club, more palm trees than we cared to count and hanging wicker swing-chairs. Beware of add-ons like paying for the activities.
