La Pura Vida

Martinique

Combining French traditional cooking and local ingredients, La Pura Vida is a stand-out on Ste-Luce's dining scene. Its premises alone are a breath of fresh air: an expansive terrace with attractive wooden tables and lounging sofas. Choose your lobster from the tank (€7 per 100g) or order the excellent conch stew. This is also a great place for a cocktail.

The kids' menu is €12, but desserts are possibly the island's priciest at a hefty €13.
