Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa

Southern Atolls

This is a well-designed resort combining romance and water sports. There are some stunning beaches here, friendly staff and plenty of activities. This is a great place to mix activity and indolence, although it's worth noting that you don’t get much privacy in the rooms as they’re quite closely packed together. Its unusual tented villas are mainly built over water.

The water villas are a solid attraction, and there's an enormous number of them, running along the entire length of one side of the island. Most guests are on all-inclusive packages. There are four restaurants offering quality food.

The dive school is good value and offers what so few centres in Maldives can these days – access to truly pristine and little-visited dive sites. The lagoon is not good for snorkelling, though snorkelling gear and twice-daily trips to nearby snorkelling spots are included in the package.
