With cosy booths in a 1920s dining room full of mirrors and printed menus, this cute coffee shop serves spectacular breakfasts, including kaya toast (spread with pandan and coconut jam) and recommended 'triple meat curry' (chicken breast, pork belly and roast pork served over noodles with fragrant curry paste).
Lim Ko Pi is also a good dessert stop: choose between cendol (shaved ice with green noodles and coconut milk), sago pudding heaped with ice and sugar syrup, or wickedly fatty custard on a bed of caramel. Try to bag one of the two tables in the small courtyards at the back.
