In a city where vegetable dishes so often arrive strewn with shrimp or pork, a proper vegetarian eatery like this no-frills canteen is a welcome relief. The chefs whip up mock meat versions of char kway teow (broad noodles with chilli and black bean sauce), laksa and even 'chicken' rice balls. The name means 'Water Immortal' vegetarian restaurant.
