Kin Kin

Kuala Lumpur

This bare-bones shop is famous throughout the city for its chilli pan mee (board noodles). These 'dry' noodles, topped with a soft-boiled egg, minced pork, ikan bilis (small, deep-fried anchovies), fried onion and a special chilli sauce, are a taste sensation. If you don't eat pork, staff do a version topped with mushrooms.

There's also a branch in the EAT food court at Publika.
