This hotel has a lot going for it: a stupendous location on a beautiful beach, a stylish colonial-type building set in a lush garden, and a good (if pricey) restaurant with great sea views. But rooms are drab and only ground-floor rooms have (holey) nets. And beware – sanitary-ware in the bathrooms is not actually fixed to the floor.
The restaurant here is set on the leafy veranda overlooking the beach and has excellent fish and seafood (mains from Ar40,000). A good range of French, South African and even local wines is available.
