From the bright mural in reception to the cool, blond wood, rope and white cotton of the rooms, this place is a winner. The huge house has two dorms (one with 15 beds, one with six) and some private rooms with bathroom and sea views, a kitchen for guests, a bar and restaurant and a roof terrace with knockout views.
The bar and restaurant (7am to 11pm,Tuesday to Saturday) has a limited menu (cheeseburger Ar14,000, smoked fish salad Ar15,000). The bar sometimes hosts slam poetry or live music events.
Each dorm bed has an individual fan, light, mosquito net, lock box, and electrical outlet.
Tamana has a sustainable approach using no plastics and has lots of furniture made from found objects.
