The reception area is situated within an old sandstone trading post, and these charming, old-fashioned bungalows vary in size and decor, with some family-sized units offering full kitchens for self-catering. The grounds are like an English cottage garden with mountain views, and it’s a pleasant spot to catch up on writing postcards. Activities include horse riding, quad bikes and guided hikes.
The restaurant (mains M65 to M120) serves light dishes such as burgers and sandwiches, as well as heavier fare including beef stew, mutton chops and chicken curry. Aloes is signposted from the main road in Pitseng village, about 30km from Bokong towards Leribe (Hlotse).
