Beirutis of Armenian descent tend to head to this elegant restaurant in Gemmayzeh if they want to celebrate a special occasion, and once you've eaten here you'll understand why. The food here is among the best in the city and provides a nice change from the usual Levantine menu. The sour-cherry kebab is particularly delicious.
Also on offer are pastry dishes, kibbeh (meat-filled cracked-wheat croquettes), soujouk (Armenian sausage) and mante (dumplings). Booking is recommended.
