Champasak with Love

Southern Laos

The marvellous riverfront patio shaded by a big old ficus tree is alone worth a visit, but the food and service are also good. It has the biggest menu in town, with mostly Thai food but also Lao standards and good brownies, fruit salad, sandwiches and breakfasts.

The basic and slightly overpriced guest rooms (with fan/air-con 40,000/80,000K) in the creaky old house have shared bathrooms.
