The palace in the name may be entirely fanciful, but don't dismiss this city-centre cheapie immediately, as its rooms are far better than you'd expect from its market exterior and cramped lobby. Awaiting you upstairs are spotless tile-floored rooms with TVs and fridges. There's also the room number embroidered on each pillowcase in case you forget it.
