This popular restaurant in the heart of downtown is as much about the ambience as the traditional Jordanian food. Squeezed into every nook and cranny of the upper storeys of this old townhouse, the tables fill up quickly in the evening, particularly those with a balcony view of Al Malek Faisal St below. Live Arab pop entertainment is offered most nights from around 9pm.
Old coffee pots, brass trays and other bric-a-brac are strewn in various alcoves, suspended from pillars and strung from the ceiling, recalling days of yore. Access is via a steep staircase up an alleyway, near to the Farah Hotel.
