Both a counter restaurant and take-away shop, Kinkume specialises in seiro meshi, food steamed in bamboo baskets – in this case rice topped with seafood. It's run by one of Tokyo's oldest seafood intermediate wholesalers (the companies that bid on the market floors) and a supplier to many a high-end restaurant. There are examples in the glass case.
