The ground floors of this L-shaped complex house some 70 stalls of wholesalers, all of whom used to operate in the old Tsukiji market, selling seafood and produce, and is geared towards home chefs. The top floor has some sushi and other seafood restaurants plus an outdoor deck with seating and a view across the area.
Uogashi (meaning 'fish quay') harks back to when the wholesale market was based at Nihonbashi and called by that name.
