Mitsukoshi is Ginza's most famous department store, anchoring one corner of the neighbourhood's main intersection. The fashion is mostly from international brands, but the 7th-floor homewares section has gallery-like displays of works by contemporary artisans, including ceramics and lacquerware (a good deal of it affordable). It also has an excellent gourmet food hall in the basement.
There's a roof garden on the 9th floor; the duty free counter is in the basement.
The original Mitsukoshi is located north of Ginza's main street, near Mitsukoshimae Station.
