Formerly the Hotel Nikkō Yaeyama, this thoroughly renovated and rebranded hilltop complex, though far from the shoreline, makes an excellent choice for its range of facilities, including a communal bathhouse (which can be visited by day guests between 4.30pm and 10pm for ¥1600) and a loved-by-kids-and-adults-alike outdoor pool. The good-sized rooms are fresh and clean, and most have excellent views.
