This black-walled, quietly chic izakaya, with cosy private booths and hori-kotatsu (well in the floor for your feet) seating, has a whole menu of Kumamoto specialities along with standard fare. Tsukune (chicken meatballs) are served pressed around a bamboo skewer. Look for the red 'dynamic kitchen' on its square, black-and-white sign.
If you're having trouble finding it, look for Docomo: it's next door.
