Looking out over the Shirakawa Canal in Shimbashi, a lovely street in Gion, this ryokan offers excellent location, atmosphere and service. The decor is traditional with a small inner garden, and all five rooms have their own private bathroom with nice wooden bathtubs. This is a great spot to sample the Japanese ryokan experience. Note: there is no room-only option.
