Tōsuirō

Downtown Kyoto

You will be amazed by the variety of dishes that can be created with tofu at this specialist tofu restaurant. It’s got traditional Japanese decor and in summer you can sit on the yuka (dining platform) outside and take in a view of the river (¥1000 seat charge). You'll find it at the end of an alley on the north side off Kiyamachi-dōri.

At lunch the machiya-zen tofu set (¥2494) is highly recommended, while for dinner the Higashiyama tofu set (¥3969) is excellent.
