Guesthouse Azito

Hakone

Azito means 'hideout', and there is indeed something playful and treehouse-like about the huge timber capsules here furnished with double beds. It also has Japanese-style private rooms and a sociable little bar (5.30pm-11.30pm) that opens onto the street. English spoken. It's a 10-minute walk uphill from Hakone-Yumoto Station on the south side of the Sukumo-gawa.
