One of Jamaica's most exclusive properties, Ian Fleming's old villa has been expanded into a stylish resort, with a selection of gorgeous beach huts and villas sprinkled across expansive grounds on a quaint cove. Staff are pampering yet discreet. The restaurants serve gourmet meals, the beach bar is a chilled-out delight, and there's plenty of access to water sports.
You can even kayak gently across the lagoon to a charming wellness center. Fleming's old residence, where he wrote the Bond novels, is now a private resort-within-a-resort, with its own beach, butler and cook. Up to 10 guests can stay here for a cool US$8000 per night (Beyoncé and Jay-Z have stayed here), but if you can't run to that, console yourself with the entertainment room for Bond movies and a Goldeneye cocktail from the Bizot Bar.
