Much rated locally, this wonderful agriturismo (farm stay) presents its oft-changing menu orally, presenting filling farmhouse dishes prepared with local seasonal ingredients, handmade pasta and their own farm-produced meat. So from cured meat starters you can move onto tagliolini al tartufo (long pasta ribbons with black truffles) and mains such as spezzatino di vitello (veal stew). Bookings recommended.
The setting – a stone barrel-vaulted interior and extension with panoramic countryside views over wildflower-strewn fields – is every bit as travel-worthy as the food. It's located 2.6km east of Norcia's town centre.
